In depth

Verdict

Accord was chasing last year and returns from a break but has yet to finish out of the frame in four runs over hurdles and could give the two previous winners something to think about in receipt of 6lb. HENRY SMITH had to be kept up to his work to hold off Sad Eyed Dylan at Bangor but a wind operation appears to have had the desired effect. He should be able to get the better of May’s Wincanton winner Djin Conti off level weights as this slightly longer trip should suit.
