Ishraaqat showed signs of ability in a fair maiden in which Mavalenta finished second so it's interesting to see Richard Hills aboard MADHAAQ who is preferred. He replaces Tadhg O'Shea in the saddle aboard the daughter of Medicean who showed promise on debut and again over this course and distance last time when shaping as though there was more to come. Mavalenta is from a yard going well and has solid form claims but she may prove to be vulnerable to something with greater scope for improvement such as Sooraah who has shown promise on both starts. The well-related Mirror Lake showed ability on her sole outing and should win races this season whilst Moonlight Mischief is out of a half-sister to Bushman and amongst the newcomers to note in the market. The betting may well prove to be informative but Madhaaq has leading claims as it stands and has already proven her ability to act on the track and should go close.
