Verdict
Society Lion just missed out in a fight to line at Doncaster last time but the winner has been beaten since and COLD FRONT is preferred. A beaten favourite on his first three outings, the latter came good with a four-length maiden success at Haydock recently and the Haggas colt can now go on to better things. Mister Snowdon finished runner-up over 6f at Yarmouth but this is tougher though Tomfre faces an easier task than at Newmarket last time and is not out of this. King Ragnar won a lower grade contest at Leicester on his latest start while Homespin attempts this longer trip for the first time having won a nursery here last year and Mark Johnston has a good recent record in this contest.
