Midday, High Heeled and Heaven Sent are the trio to focus on here, with MIDDAY, despite a disappointing effort last time, having the necessary class to take this prestigious affair. High Heeled, placed in the Oaks, advertised that form with a sound win at York recently, where she showed stamina was her forte. She took a long time to pick up however, and she may find one or two of these too speedy, though she looks sure to run her race. Heaven Sent ran a blinder in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket, a Group One affair, but has been found wanting at this trip previously and is opposed. Midday was all at sea on the testing ground in the Irish Oaks, and provided that effort has not taken its toll, the race is best forgotten. She had previously made Sariska pull out all the stops in The Oaks, and scored in emphatic style at Lingfield over only a furlong further than here. Midday has conditions to suit and can return to winning form.
