Nigel Twiston-Davis has his team in good heart at the moment and JUMP JET showed that with a facile success at Uttoxeter last week and he can defy the penalty for that win, getting the verdict ahead of Morestead and Denny Mac. Liam Corcoran's gelding disappointed over two miles at Uttoxeter two starts ago but ran better when returned to 2m4f here last time and he has every chance if staying the extra two furlongs today. Nick Gifford's Shaka's Pearl lacks a recent run and may be best watched on his reappearance with a bigger threat likely to come from Midnight Gold. Peter Bowen's gelding has been running to a consistent level of form this term and should again be thereabouts but he could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Brendan Powell's Morestead has been punished by the handicapper for his win at Plumpton in September but ran well here last month and he has to be considered. Preference though is for Jump Jet, who won with plenty in hand on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter last week and he can score again.
