Shaman has little to beat apart from Silvo and Airgusta, and should prove well up to the task. Gary Moore saddles two here, but Shaman is much preferred, having already been successful in a claimer at Plumpton before finishing a very close third in a class 4 non-selling handicap hurdle over the course-and-distance last week. The drop down to this level should make him very hard to beat under Philip Hide. Silvo was also successful in selling company when landing a dreadful affair at Fakenham and was kept in trim with an outing on the Kempton Polytrack three weeks ago. He can give the selection most to do along with Airgusta, whose third to Lyon at Towcester was franked by the winner at the weekend. Batswing is a fading shadow of his former self, while the rest barely merit a glance, and all in all, this should safely be left to Shaman.
