In depth

Verdict

David Arbuthnot's SPE SALVI is likely to be at short odds for the concluding bumper on the card and she is hard to oppose, in a race where the opposition looks thin on the ground, following an improved effort when landing a maiden bumper at Newton Abbot in July. Les Montague Hall's Dark Ruby makes her debut but makes limited appeal on her pedigree, while La Belle Au Bois similarly faces no easy task on her racing debut. Restless Harriet was well beaten first time up at Towcester in May and of more interest may be Karingabay Queen, who has shown winning form in points and she has to be considered on her rules debut.
