The form of Chevronne's race at Worcester has taken a few knocks since and a chance is taken with hurdling debutant Atlantis, who gets the verdict over Chakra. The last mentioned won a novices' hurdle at Newton Abbot in July in good fashion but has struggled in handicaps since then. The return to this class could help the 10-year-old. Selling handicap winner Faddad is probably out of his depth in this company and of more interest may be the hurdling newcomer Kirov King. Brendan Powell's gelding has not shown much since joining current connections but is fit from the flat and is sure to have been well schooled. The vote though goes to another newcomer to the winter game Atlantis. A winner on the level in Germany, the son of No Ski has joined the stable of Gary Moore, who does well with his runners here. Atlantis would not need to be out of the ordinary to win a moderate contest.
