In depth

Verdict

Billy One Punch, Arous and Danger Zone look to be the three principals here, with the vote going to the first-named. First of all, this is a modest race, but the selection has shown more than enough form in being placed in each of last two races, most recently when second to Algharb at Ripon, to suggest that he is a leading player this afternoon. A half-sister to Dandoun, Arous has not yet shown form anywhere near that of her one-time classy sibling, but she has shown enough to suggest that she ought to be competitive in this modest event. She should go well, as might Danger Zone, who improved when put into handicap company last time, although his rating is just 64. World Series has shown enough in two starts to suggest he has ability, and the drop in trip for this half-brother to The Kiddykid could be interesting, but it is hard to build a case for many of the others. This returns us to the selection, which is Billy One Punch.
