Guilded Warrior is our pick in a weak handicap with Psycho Cat, Bobby Rose and Gavarnie Beau rated the main dangers. We are taking a chance that our selection will come here fit -having had a six-month break - but he is likely to be a decent price and this race won't take much winning. There was a lot to like about his win in a Wolverhampton maiden last October, this son of Mujahid stuck to his task well and galloped all the way to the finish. We are taking a chance on his fitness and ability to handle the ground but if he does he will be the one they all have to beat. The main danger to our selection is Psycho Cat. The fitting of blinkers appeared to curb his wayward tendencies when he was second in a Leicester seller last week. However that was a poor race and he may find one to good again on his return to handicap company. Bobby Rose does not look an easy ride but will have Daryll Holland on board, the Derek Ivory-trained gelding was third in a fast ground Yarmouth handicap last month and he has place claims again today. Gavarnie Beau is still a maiden yet has the burden of topweight, he will surely have too much to do with this burden on rain softened ground and so we return to our choice Guilded Warrior.
