There will be plenty of attention on PRAESEPE but it may not pay to get too carried away with the likes of Beauty Pageant and Sheer Force in opposition. Having illustrious members of your family can lead to high expectations and that may well have been a factor in Praesepe being sent off at odds-on on debut at Wolverhampton where she made an entirely satisfactory bow even if she didn't live up to market expectations. She's a half-sister to the smart Enticing and it will be interesting to see how she progresses. Beauty Pageant also returned a beaten favourite on debut but she fared best of the newcomers that day and is entitled to improve for that experience and has to be feared. Sheer Force is running out of chances but has ability and sets the benchmark whilst Fighting Talk may well have more to offer this season and needs a market check.
