    Verdict

We open up the meeting with a two-year-old maiden where it should pay to follow the top trainers. With that being said GLITTER BUG gets the nod ahead of Night Singer and Lexi's Boy. The selection hails from the Mark Johnston yard, which is 11 from 63 with its juvenile runners here in recent years. The stable have won two of the last five runnings of this event and their son of Oasis Dream could make it three from six. He cost connections €85,000 and this well-related colt looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark. Furthermore, he holds some significant entries later in the year so a big run is expected. Night Singer is another that should go well. Howard Johnson is better known as a jumps trainer but does well with his select string on the flat. His son of Oratorio will enjoy today's step up in trip after running well over five and can be expected to come on a lot for the run. Lexi's Boy represents a stable that do well with their two-year-olds and this son of Verglas can be expected to get involved. His sales price rose when going through the ring and given that his trainer has targeted this race before a market check is advised. Others to note are Crown Ridge, Dubawi Gold and Sinadinou.
