ROYAL RESIDENCE is a strong traveller who requires a good pace to run at but the problem is that practically all his rivals have also adopted hold-up tactics in the vast majority of outings. Therefore, there's a reliance on Ballyquin to set a decent pace for the late finishers to aim at and it would not at all surprise should William Cox try to steal this from the front in what looks an interesting tactical affair. Molls Memory found the step-up to Class 2 company too demanding in a hot Windsor sprint the last day but had impressed on previous starts and should bounce back into contention here. Bernardo O'Reilly and Sunsprite are seen as next best.
