    Verdict

Amor Fati wasn’t disgraced off his new mark at Brighton but would have preferred a quicker surface. Fieldsman looks to be back in the handicapper’s grip but Pat Millman’s rides in races like this are always worth a second look and MANDOCELLO may have found 1m2f too far at Newbury after a break. Imperial Act has yet to record back-to-back victories and has been raised a further 4lb so is probably worth opposing.
