Plenty of runners here but few with realistic chances. MASTER OF VERSE has been a major disappointment in bumpers after going for £150,000 following his victory between the flags. He's been beaten at short odds in all three starts but in the expectation of much improved form over timber he gets the nod in what looks a very poor contest. Travertine has a penalty to carry for his victories on very testing going on the Flat in France but he's run poorly in his last two starts over hurdles. Solar Benny also carries extra for a victory at Dundalk in November while none of the remainder have shown any real spark and would be difficult to recommend though the mare Phoenix Twist may be capable of some improvement.
