Verdict

Fumbo Jumbo returned to action with a second at Southwell though failed to keep tabs on the winner. BLACK GRASS was also swept aside by the winner in the closing stages when runner-up over track and trip a fortnight ago. But Mick Easterby's charge should make another bold bid off the same mark and is preferred to Lady Wootton. The latter drops down a grade for her reappearance having been rated 9lb higher at one point last season while Feelin Dicky also faces an easier task than of late and makes most appeal of the remainder.
