It could be a good start to the day for Ruby Walsh as SICILIAN SECRET sets the standard here and should prove tough to beat; Gift Of Dgab. Benash and Taking Stock are the three most likely to threaten our pick. Willie Mullins has already had three winners at the meeting and could make it four with this son of Flemensfirth who should be at home in the prevailing conditions. He ran with credit in the Punchestown bumper last year and took to hurdles well enough when second at the first time of asking. It's not the horse's fault he was sent off odds-on that day and the experience will have done him good, so he should go in at the second time of asking. Gift Of Dgab is interesting for Tony Martin with Paul Carberry booked to ride. He was an expensive enough purchase at 15,000 Euro and could go well although the market will tell us more. Benash won a bumper on heavy ground and cruised for much of his hurdling debut before getting tired; he'll go well with that behind him, surely. Taking Stock is another to consider with AP McCoy taking the ride having looked a shade unfortunate when narrowly failing last time, although this drop to two miles is a slight negative in our view. Johnnyofcourse has the form to go well but is proving frustrating to follow and we'll return to Sicilian Secret.
