Division One of the novices hurdle can go the way of COPPER BLEU, but there's expected to be some support too for Phar Again and Quaddick Lake. The selection, a ¿155,000 purchase earlier in the year, has already won over hurdles, and will be fresh following a 6 month lay-off. Phillip Hobbs knows what it takes to win this race, having been successful three times in the last 10 years. Quaddick Lake looks the pick of the trio of David Pipe runners. A point to point winner, he's still learning about hurdling. Phar Again won't want it too soft. It could be significant he's Emma Lavelle's only runner on the card. The market should be watched for any significant support, but we think that first home will be Copper Bleu.
