HURRICANE COAST is the tentative choice in the opener; the list of dangers is headed by Classic Blue and Anduril. The selection hinted at a return to form here last time when he chased home Mulberry Lad. The step-up in trip should suit, he has a good draw and he remains on a very fair mark so he makes plenty of appeal. Classic Blue was returning from a break when chasing home Personify at Great Leighs last time. That was a good effort and as she should be sharper for the run she can go close. Anduril has been a bit disappointing of late but he has a good draw today and if he is in the mood he could be capable of running a big race. Bold Phoenix has not won for over two years and he is hard to enthuse about, while The Gaikwar also looks as though his best days are behind him. A moderate handicap and Hurricane Coast is taken to blow his rivals away.
