Cill Rialaig has shown improved form in his last two starts, both at Salisbury, and only went down by a nose last time but a 4lb rise for that effort seems harsh and preference is for FUNDAY, who gets the verdict ahead of Bold Cross. The last mentioned ran well over this trip at Bath earlier this month when a good second behind Mick's Dancer before disappointing over seven furlongs at Warwick last time and he should appreciate the return to 1m2f. Admiral Dundas is capable but has been well held in recent starts and the William Jarvis-trained gelding is hard to back with confidence on that form. Pat Eddery's Penchesco ran better on the Fibresand at Southwell last time and could be of interest stepping up in trip but he is far from certain to stay this far and a better bet looks to be Funday. Gary Moore's filly is less exposed than most of these after just four starts losing no caste in defeat over two furlongs extra at Newbury last time and, the return to this trip, should suit.
