In depth

Verdict

Enforcer deserves to get his head in front after some fine efforts in much better grade than this but Willie Muir's colt may not be suited by the drop back in trip, especially with the lack of an end-to-end gallop and may be worth taking on at the forecast odds with preference for Road To Love. The selection disappointed in the Rose of Lancaster Stakes last time but earlier form in handicaps over this trip reads well. The three-year-old is likely to get an uncontested lead and is taken to make all the running. Godolphin's Ashaawes is less exposed than most of these and has to be respected but probably needs to improve, while Classic Punch has yet to live up to expectations. The same cannot be said of Road To Love though and he is taken to resume winning ways.
