In depth

Verdict

Zarahath Al Bustan looks all set to go one better, with Bee Seventeen and Pure Fiction the other main players. Zarahath Al Bustan created a favourable impression on her debut at Thirsk, running on well without being good enough to catch the winner High Heel Sneakers. Mick Channon's filly did not get the best of runs when the pace quickened approaching the final furlong, and this longer journey that is more in keeping with her breeding can see the daughter of Gulch open her account. Bee Seventeen went out like a light when sent off as favourite at Lingfield last time, a disappointing effort given the way that she had finished to get second on her Newmarket debut the time before. Pure Fiction was slowly away on her Bath introduction but her stable is jam-packed with good juveniles, while Picture Show is related to lots of winners. An interesting little affair can go to Zarahath Al Bustan.
