In depth

Verdict

Joey Perhaps, Seattle Robber and Platinum Dancer look the most promising contenders in the opener with vote going to the last named. Platinum Dancer is looking for his hat-trick after his wins at Warwick and Mussselburgh where he was most impressive when beating Kyle Of Lochalsh by five lengths going away. He makes a quick reappearance here and if not suffering from that last effort two days ago and if recovering from jet lag he will go close again. Joey Perhaps won over course and distance last time out in a thirteen runner handicap and has obvious claims as does Seattle Robber who was unable to challenge in a similar contest over course and distance on his latest run but was not discredited to finish fourth on that occasion. So for the winner we return to Platinum Dancer.
