With five of these out of the weights proper, and several of the runners out of form, this may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest. Northside Lodge, placed in his last two starts, holds obvious claims of recording his second success of the season, while Martin Pipe's Fortune Point bounced back to form when landing a Chepstow seller last time and should not be discounted. Goodwood winner Pay The Silver and the Alan Jarvis-trained North Point are others to consider.
