Verdict

While admittedly being one of the stable's lesser lights Mick Channon's B A Highflyer will still be tough to beat in day's opening contest. Only once out of the first three from five starts, the son of Compton Place should be better suited by the return to this trip having been outpaced over the minimum distance at Bath last time. Alan Berry's Sit And Suffer showed enough on her debut over course and distance to suggest she can win a race of this nature. Manx Fizz looks best of the rest.
