In depth

Verdict

The Neville Callaghan-trained Danehill Willy seems to have really got his act together at present and is fancied to deliver again; possibly at the main expense of the unexposed Dahman tries this trip for the first time. Godolphin have been a little hit or miss this term, so it may be prudent to get some indication from the betting ring before diving in to support their representative here. The Violin Player is a consistent type that should again run his race, while Active Asset wasn't beaten far over course and distance last month and has claims if he can post an improved display. He still has scope to do so and cannot confidently be ruled out. However, Danehill Willy is in the form of his life at present and, with Chris Catlin back in the plate, everything is in place for another bold show.
