Proxenia stands out in the opener, with Glasshoughton, Dream Of Perfection, Grantley Adams and, possibly, Amy Louise, comprising her biggest dangers. Given today's weights, the form of Proxenia's second to subsequent Listed-placed Mixed Blessings at Goodwood last time stands out here, and, with the fourth from that race having won since, she gets the call in the opener. It is hard to assess the merits of Dream of Perfection's debut third, but he did at least show some ability and his chance is not dismissed. Glasshoughton's form is solid, albeit it on soft going, and he can go well despite the fact that he has to concede weight to the field. Grantley Adams has shown some ability to date but will need to build on his Salisbury effort last time. That said, he cannot be ruled out of running well, while the Peter Savill-owned Amy Louise certainly catches the eye on breeding and the market might provide some clues. Finally, the visor would need to bring about a good deal of improvement from Mytass if she is to score, and Clear Veneer also needs to find improvement. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Proxenia.
