Waterside had plenty in hand over Distant Country here a fortnight ago and is fancied to follow up this evening. What-A-Dancer and the in-form Stevedore are also respected with their claims and should be able to make this a good test. Stevedore could do no more than win when he landed a weak seller at Nottingham last week. He has more on his plate here but is in good enough form to do himself justice at this level. He has won at the trip in the past and is a worthy contender for at least a place. So too is What-A-Dancer, who is something of a specialist at this distance. However, he does have a bit to find with Stevedore from last time out and may again have to settle for a minor role. Especially if Ryan Moore gets the best out Waterside again tonight. Moore's enterprising tactics have been instrumental in swinging several results his way this term and, with such a willing partner to go to war with this evening, last year's champion apprentice looks the man to side with again here.
