Alamanda is related to several middle-distance winners and may be seen to better advantage when tackling further. David Wachman's Storm Cat filly DAINTY showed promise in a couple of starts here before just touched off over 7f at Fairyhouse. Her pedigree suggests this trip should be ideal. The Ballydoyle entry Ice Empress has only shown modest form to date but will have come on greatly for her recent run in testing conditions at Leopardstown. After a reasonable start at Roscommon in September, Moonlight Rock was sent to the Curragh for a Listed event which suggests she is held in some regard.
