THE BAY BANDIT had evidently improved dramatically for his opening run of the year at Kempton in February as was very well supported at Wolverhampton a month later only to find Destiny's Dancer just too strong in the closing stages. That was over 7f so today's trip may enable connections to recoup losses despite being held by Cinnin Oir on their run over the C&D in November. The latter made a very promising return when finishing strongly behind Central Moves here but may just prefer an extra furlong at this stage. Sarahthecarer and Elusive Gent look high enough in the weights for what they have achieved but As You Like It mainly ran in slightly better company in her first season and could reach a place at least.
