A position on either rail has been advantageous in races of this nature recently so Spark Up who is right up against the far-side rail, is selected over Warden Warren and Rathmullen, who have hinted that their turn is not too far away with near misses of late. The same has to be said of Jubilee Street and the Anne Duffield-trained gelding deserves a change of fortune after a cracking effort at Ayr last time. A near-side draw could also see a leading role played by Bint Royal, who has gone well here in the past and looks worth another try at this trip. However, a line through Music Maid leaves her with a little to find with Spark Up, who will be very hard to beat if she goes anywhere near to repeating her effort in a fillies only handicap at Ascot last time.
