Addikt ran creditably on his reappearance at York earlier this month and he has to be respected racing off the same mark today but probably needs to improve to get the better of ARCTIC CAPE, who is preferred over Bold Cross. The last mentioned has run better in his last three starts but the handicapper has taken note and he may again have to settle for minor honours. Jo Crowley's Everybody Knows was good value for his win at Windsor when making all the running last month and a 3lb rise for that success seems perfectly fair so he has to be respected. Jawaab has been running well of late but may just be a shade high in the weights, while Ours is another that has paid the penalty for his consistency and may again have to settle for place at best. The vote then goes to Mark Johnston's Arctic Cape, who is closely matched with Addikt on running at York last time but he should appreciate the slight drop in trip to a mile and can reverse Knavesmire form and take the honours here.
