Ruth Carr has her string in fine form at present so Calmdownmate has to be respected but the son of Danehill Dancer seems better on the Fibresand than on turf and he looks best watched, with preference for SILVER WIND from the in-form stable of David Evans and he gets the vote ahead of Grazeon Gold Blend. John Quinn's gelding has shown improved form in his last two starts but the handicapper has raised him another 2lbs for his latest effort when chasing home Red Cape and he may have to settle for minor honours again. Richard Hannon's Superduper has been running consistently well but is another that could probably do with some help from the handicapper and of more interest may be John Keats, who is closely matched with Grazeon Gold Blend on running last time. Kevin Ryan's Errigal Lad disappointed over seven furlongs at Ayr last time and it will be interesting to see how he performs back over six furlongs today but it is Silver Wind that gets the vote. A good winner in a claimer on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton in January, the four-year-old bettered that form on turf at York recently when a close second behind Dancing Maite and he has solid claims of going one better here off just a 1lb higher mark.
