Albeed looks one for handicaps, whilst Cheetah's form has not really been franked, so preference here is for GIANTS PLAY ahead of Modeyra and Gertrude Bell in what looks a quality maiden. Sir Michael Stoute's daughter of Giant's Causeway made a pleasing start to her racecourse career when second to Damietta at Kempton in August. Given a couple of months off since for whatever reason, the feeling is that she should improve plenty for the run and the form looks solid regardless. The list of dangers is immense: That's My Style, Modeyra, Fantastic Cuix and Ellbeedee all look like interesting newcomers, with perhaps Modeyra making most appeal being out of an Oaks-placed mare. Little Oz shaped with promise on her first run at HQ, Gertrude Bell was third in that same race and has run well since, whilst Babycakes, Bebopalula and Causeway Coast are yet three more newcomers who make plenty of appeal. What a race! The tentative vote goes to Giants Play.
