    Verdict

Just five two-year-old fillies take their chance in this novices' event, with Summer Passion the only participant lacking experience. However, considering the form of the Barry Hills team at present, and the weight she receives from her rivals, the daughter of Pennekamp should not be dismissed lightly. Topkamp, who is by the same sire, cut little ice in the Henry Carnarvon Stakes at the Royal meeting and should appreciate the drop in class here, as should Jeremy Noseda's Maugwenna who suffered from a bad draw and a rough race at Chester on her most recent start. Grey Clouds is not bred to appreciate the drop to five furlongs, while Floppie Disk is more exposed than most of these.
