Verdict
For the selection, we turn to Night Sight, with Mister Right, Hezaam, Ouninpohja and Top Seed possibly the ones to rate as his biggest dangers. A course and distance winner, the selection has dropped back to an attractive mark and has shown enough of late to be granted consideration tonight. As such, he gets the tentative vote. Mister Right has developed into a reliable performer, although a three-pound rise for his recent win means that he has to find a little more improvement to score. Hezaam's recent Haydock effort brings him firmly into things as he is well-weighted on last year's form, although the suspicion is that he is at his very best on softer going. Vamp is proving consistent from her current mark, but finishing first is eluding her, while Mexican Pete has a chance on last year's form, and Sporting Gesture remains five pounds above a winning mark and is held by Night Sight based on Thirsk form of last September. Ouninpohja looked very unlucky at Carlisle last time and, no doubt, will attract support in endeavouring to put things right, while Top Seed has been given a real chance now by the handicapper and, if anywhere near his form spring form, cannot be discounted. Overall, though, we will just stick with Night Sight.
