Verdict

ROYAL AND REGAL is the selection with Honolulu and Sanbuch the most pertinent dangers. Proven with plenty of give in the ground, Royal and Regal looks to be the percentage call in today's contest. The colt was a tad disappointing at Deauville in similar grade last time out but back on home soil, a reproduction of his early season efforts can suffice. Honolulu has to be respected as an inmate of the Aidan O'Brien operation. We have chiefly seen him on fast ground during his career though he did win at Limerick on yielding in the earlier part of his campaign. Sanbuch has proved too good for handicaps and attempts to graduate into the big league. His chances will improve immeasuribly if they stage this contest at a fast pace. Baddam probably finds this trip to be at the buckle end as far as sharpness is concerned. Balkan Knight is a fine sort at Group 3 level but invariably gets found out at this sphere. Arc third, Sagara, has yet to score for Godolphin and is one to note in the market. Carte Diamond would be an emotional scorer for Brian Ellison, who's stable are at least back in some semblance of form. Finalmente, who has won on soft going, has to carry an extra penalty for his victory at Sandown and that may just prove a bridge too far. Royal And Regal is the selection.
