A tough puzzle to solve with some fine animals on show but preference is for Blythe Knight ahead of Medicine Path and Don't Panic. The selection has some top form at this track as he won here as a juvenile, although when he won the Lincoln it was staged at Redcar. He has form on any ground and this talented dual-performer is taken to go one better than when second here in this year's Lincoln. Don't Panic romped home in the consolation race, the Spring Mile, and his trainer thinks a lot of him so it would be no surprise to see him defy a 12lb rise in the weights. Smart Enough disappointed when last seen at Newmarket but has a chance to redeem himself here, whilst Tell needs respect but his best form is on a quicker surface. Medicine Path was highly tried last season but he has been in top form this winter and this mile looks to be his best trip. Babodana was third in the Lincoln, showing that he retains his enthusiasm, whilst Dubai's Touch drops back in trip today. An open race, but the gallant Blythe Knight is taken to oblige.
