A small but competitive field goes to post for this listed race and the principals look to be Gamut, Scott¿s View and Middlemarch and the confident vote goes to Gamut. The colt from the Sir Michel Stoute yard has held his form well this season and a reproduction of his latest second behind Vinnie Roe would make him hard to beat. He is better with more cut in the ground but he still looks better than his rivals and is taken to score. Scott¿s View rates the main danger he was a good second behind Misternando last time over two miles, the drop back to this trip is sure to suit and with conditions in his favour he will not be far away. Middlemarch is also worthy of respect he won well at the Curragh last time but his best form is with more cut in the ground so for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Silver Gilt is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Gamut
