Dropped in trip and back on soft ground, DORMER FLEET is the suggestion to win this competitive nursery, while Walvis Bay and Bossy Kitty are among others considered. The selection is a likeable Kyllachy colt, who should therefore be capable of handling soft ground. John Gosden's inmate has a nice high draw to assist, and with this return to a more suitable trip than at Yarmouth we hope he can revert to winning form. Walvis Bay has been put into his first nursery on a mark of 84, after three consistent maiden runs, two of which showed that he handles cut. This trip is ideal for him at this stage and he is much respected. Bossy Kitty chases a hat-trick, after winning at both Ayr and York, and has gone up 11lbs as a result of those successes. She too acts with cut and over this trip and looks sure to go well if overcoming a lower draw. There are doubts about the ability of both Gouray Girl and Dusty Spirit to handle conditions today, although Bridge Valley should do so but has a poor draw. The latter applies to Richard Hannon's apparent first string Dubai Set, who has to go down the far rail and may not handle it as testing as this. A fascinating contest, where Dormer Fleet is our choice.
