In depth

Verdict

Maiden Castle needed the help of the stewards to get the verdict at Windsor and is 6lb higher. Man Of The Night has ability but hasn’t won since making his debut as a two-year-old. Tenbury Wells ran a shocker on his reappearance and Basilicata is heading back up the weights despite finding one too good in his last two. Tawaareq will need to settle better to stay this longer trip but headgear may help. OZ LEGEND has had excuses in both starts this year and may handle this fast ground better than most so gets the nod with York third Blu Boy not certain to stay this far on breeding.
