King Frankel was no match for the progressive winner when runner-up at Newbury though still looks to have the best chance of Mark Johnston’s three runners. But PATIENT DREAM has form at the track having returned to action with a victory over the extended mile here. Pedigree suggests this extra distance will bring further improvement and he gets the nod. Freak Out also steps up in trip after going close at Newmarket while Greatgadian will appreciate the return to faster ground and is preferred to Camelot Tales.
