A few of these could be in danger of becoming disappointing so it may be worth giving Urban Calm another chance and the daughter of Cadeaux Genereux makes more appeal than the frustrating Laconia and Multahab, who are definitely running out of friends after a series of close efforts in defeat. In contrast, Firebird Rising caught the eye last time and, like Rene Raider, there should be more to come from her. However, the has to be said of Urban Calm after her gutsy effort on unsuitable ground at Folkestone last time. Robert Cowell has sensibly given her plenty of time to get over that race and, as she easily accounted for Laconia when she made her debut, she does not have much to find to take this if she has improved in the meantime. Rene Raider is another that has looked worth a try on a faster surface and he could give Urban Calm the most to do if he copes with the drop in trip.
