    Verdict

Sortita is taken to land the finale with Blessing and Culloden put forward to chase her home. The selection has looked a smart filly on both of her starts to date and she wasn't beaten far behind Savarain in what looked a decent maiden at Goodwood last time. She is open to further progress and she should prove difficult to beat. Blessing is an interesting newcomer from the Jeremy Noseda yard and this filly could give our selection the most to think about, especially if the market speaks in her favour. Similar comments would apply to John Gosden's Culloden and he certainly makes plenty of appeal on breeding. Plavius was a beaten favourite on his seasonal reappearance at Lingfield and this colt should come on for the run so he is not without a chance. An open finale and Sortita is the token pick.
