Verdict

BORDER PATROL has solid claims of following up on his win earlier this month; Patrician's Glory and Exceptional Art are offered up as the alternatives. The selection is a half-brother to six winners including useful sprinter Eisteddford. He built on his pleasing debut by scoring nicely last time out and looks capable of building on that effort. Patrician's Glory has been away from the track since last September. He was disappointing over a mile last time out but he has a victory and a third place finish to his name over 7f and returns to his trip of preference today so is expected to be there or thereabouts at the post. Exceptional Art was impressive when winning on debut in August last year and represents powerful connections. He takes a huge drop in class here and has to be feared.
