In depth

Verdict

Flying Visit has been narrowly beaten in three starts at around this trip, all on testing ground. He has to cope with a much faster surface and faces several once-raced likely improvers. They include YARRAWONGA, who made his debut in heavy ground at Killarney behind stable companion San Martino and, though very green, stayed on nicely once the penny dropped. Alpha Cru also showed up well in testing ground at Leopardstown while Malaysian ran well for a long way behind subsequent Group 1 winner Shale at Leopardstown. Belmont Avenue is by Zoffany out of a winning miler who has produced winners with her first two offspring.
