Verdict
VELETA flashed her tail in the closing stages at Bath but still won a shade cosily and she can defy a 4lb rise here having secured a starting position near the rail. Summit Fever is better drawn than at Chelmsford at the start of the month and rates a danger while Shoot To Kill was slowly away at Doncaster last week and hampered in the closing stages so that effort can be upgraded. Sur Mer made all at Windsor but will have to break smartly to grab the lead here from stall eight. Saras Hope pounced late at Goodwood and looks the pick of the remainder.
