Peqeno Diablo had shown promise in points but nothing in two starts over timber before an excellent second to Moi Desire at Wexford where he was always up with the pace and only succumbed in the closing stages. Harvest Moone did well to finish runner-up to Liveley Lass at Wexford but the disappointing effort of the winner at Listowel on Monday puts a question mark over the form. GUNNER KELLY attracted support when sent to Sligo for his racecourse debut early last month and though he could only finish fourth behind Shaniv he showed that there is a race in him and this should be within his capabilities. Down In Neworleans ran reasonably well in a better event at Punchestown last time and is one to keep an eye on.
