Verdict

BRODIES DUBROVNIK showed that there is a race of this nature in him with two good efforts in maidens last October and the heavy ground was his undoing on his final start of the year at Naas. Captoline Hill has shown enough in four starts to be considered and this lightly-raced type has more to offer. The front-running Celtic Carol may be ridden with a little more restraint after failing to see out the trip on her last two runs at Sligo and she is on the upgrade while Rugby Dunne De Biz has progressed in bumpers and has the pace in his pedigree to make a success of hurdling. Hill Of Dyrick didn't get far at Tramore last week but an earlier third place behind First Beauty at Limerick points to her chance here and Jim Culloty's Regal D'Estruval looks the type to make progress this campaign.
