My Immortal, Wing Collar and The Nawab are shortlisted in this handicap and the nomination is given to Wing Collar. The selection responded well to the fitting of cheekpieces when defeating Inchpast at York last time. That win will have boosted his confidence and as the cheekpieces are fitted once again here we are prepared to stick with him. My Immortal looks to be going the right way and he beat Silent Jo at Lingfield last time. The step-up in trip should suit and as Silent Jo has gone on to frank the form of that win earlier this month he is certainly considered. The Nawab is a nice type and he won well at Warwick last time when beating Kaluana Court. He remains unexposed and is the type that his trainer does well with at this time of year, so he is certainly worth a second look in the market. Incroyable was disappointing at Sandown last time but that run may have come too quickly for her after a winning effort at Lingfield. She has place claims today but for the winner we will stick with Wing Collar.
